 David Levenson is the co-founder of Genesis Financial, bringing over two decades of investment experience and a distinguished track record in senior leadership roles at Brookfield Asset Management. Most recently, he served as the Global Head of Brookfield Special Investments and Chief Investment Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure, where he led the deployment of approximately US$14 billion in equity capital across a range of strategies. He played a pivotal role in the formation of Brookfield’s US$3.5 billion special situations fund and served as a key infrastructure strategist. David has also held board positions at several billion-dollar enterprises and currently sits on the boards of Algonquin Power and Chorus Aviation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from McGill University, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a CFA charterholder. 

 Bahir Manios is the co-founder of Genesis, bringing over 20 years of experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Asset Management, a publicly listed asset manager overseeing approximately $90 billion in assets. Prior to this, Bahir held several senior executive roles at Brookfield, including Chief Investment Officer of Brookfield Reinsurance, Chief Strategy Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure, and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure. Throughout his tenure, he was instrumental in building new investment strategies and teams across infrastructure, insurance, and credit platforms. He played a key role in the development of Brookfield’s infrastructure fund programs and led the firm’s fundraising efforts, which raised $45 billion in private capital and $11 billion in equity, including the IPO of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP. Bahir also led several high-profile special situations, including the complex spinoffs of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation, Brookfield Asset Management, and Brookfield Reinsurance. He currently serves as a senior advisor to Brookfield Asset Management. Bahir holds a Bachelor's degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
